6. Requirements for cyclists
6.1.

Riding a bicycle on the road is permitted for persons who have reached the age of 14.

6.2.

A cyclist may ride a bicycle equipped with an audible signal and reflectors: white at the front, orange on the sides, and red at the rear. For movement during darkness and in conditions of insufficient visibility, the bicycle must be fitted with and have switched on a lamp (headlight).

6.3.

Cyclists traveling in groups must ride one after another so as not to interfere with other road users.

A column of cyclists moving along the roadway must be divided into groups (up to 10 cyclists in each group) with a distance of 80-100 m between groups.

6.4.

A cyclist may carry only such loads as do not interfere with control of the bicycle and do not create obstacles for other road users.

6.5.

If a bicycle path crosses a road outside an intersection, cyclists are obliged to give way to other vehicles moving along the road.

Cyclists must cross the roadway at a bicycle crossing, and if there is none, in accordance with the requirements of these Rules.

In places where traffic is regulated, cyclists must follow the signals of the traffic controller or traffic lights.
