25. Movement of vehicles in columns
25.1.

Every vehicle moving as part of a column must display the identification sign "Column" provided for in subparagraph "h" of paragraph 30.3 of these Rules, and the dipped headlights must be switched on.

The identification sign may be omitted if the column is accompanied by operational vehicles with red, blue and red, green, or blue and green flashing beacons and (or) special sound signals switched on.

25.2.

Vehicles must move in a column only in a single row as close as possible to the right edge of the carriageway, except when they are accompanied by operational vehicles.

25.3.

The speed of movement of the column and the distance between vehicles are determined by the commander of the column or by the movement mode of the lead vehicle in accordance with the requirements of these Rules.

25.4.

A column moving without accompaniment by operational vehicles must be divided into groups (no more than five vehicles in each), the distance between which must ensure the possibility for other vehicles to overtake the group.

25.5.

If a column stops on the road, hazard warning lights must be switched on on all vehicles.

25.6.

Other vehicles are prohibited from taking a place for continuous movement within the column.
