32. Certain road traffic issues requiring approval
32.1.

The following shall be agreed with authorized units of the National Police:

a) placement within the road reserve of highways or within the red lines of city streets and roads and on their artificial structures of kiosks, pavilions, advertising carriers, mobile trade outlets, as well as on adjacent territories, buildings and structures - of administrative premises of enterprises, institutions and organizations;

b) the conditions and procedure for the movement of columns consisting of more than five mechanical vehicles;

c) the procedure for towing two or more vehicles;

  • Other issues of ensuring road traffic safety provided for by legislative acts shall also be agreed with the National Police authorities.


32.2.

The following shall be agreed with territorial bodies providing service functions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

a) technical requirements, design and installation on vehicles of special sound and light signaling devices (except for installation of an orange flashing beacon on oversized and heavyweight vehicles, agricultural machinery whose width exceeds 2.6 m, on mechanical vehicles of the road maintenance service, on vehicles of special and specialized purpose, and on vehicles bearing the identification sign “Children”), light indicators and identification signs of emergency service vehicles, as well as application of inclined white stripes on the outer side surfaces of vehicles;

b) re-equipment of vehicles.

  • Other issues provided for by legislative acts shall also be agreed with territorial bodies providing service functions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.


32.3.

It is prohibited, including at specialized enterprises performing repair and maintenance of vehicles, to make changes to the identification numbers and number plates of the body or chassis (frame), the engine of the vehicle, as well as to destroy them (transfer, fastening, restoration, etc.) without prior approval from territorial bodies providing service functions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
