Stop — the cessation of movement of a vehicle for up to 5 minutes or more, if necessary for the boarding (alighting) of passengers or loading (unloading) of cargo, or to comply with the requirements of the Traffic Rules.

Clause 1.10 (term "Parking")

Parking — the cessation of movement of a vehicle for more than 5 minutes for reasons not related to the boarding (alighting) of passengers or loading (unloading) of cargo, or compliance with the requirements of the Traffic Rules.

Clause 33.3 — 33 "Road Signs", 3 "Prohibitory Signs", sign 3.34 "Stopping Prohibited"

Sign 3.34 "Stopping Prohibited" prohibits stopping and parking of vehicles, except for taxis that are picking up or dropping off passengers (loading or unloading cargo).

The sign does not apply: • to vehicles operating on established routes; • if there is a 7.18 "Except for persons with disabilities" plate under it — to drivers with disabilities operating a motorized wheelchair or car with the "Driver with a disability" identification sign, and to drivers transporting passengers with disabilities, provided there are documents confirming the passenger's disability (except for passengers with obvious signs of disability).

Plate 7.18 "Except for persons with disabilities" is used to indicate that the sign does not apply to drivers with disabilities and/or drivers transporting persons with disabilities, in cases provided for in the description of the relevant prohibitory sign (in particular — 3.34), subject to compliance with the requirements for the identification sign and supporting documents.
