“Drivers of emergency vehicles, while performing urgent official duties, may depart from the requirements of Sections 8 (except for traffic controller signals), 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 26, 27, and Clause 28.1 of these Rules provided that the blue or red flashing beacon and the special sound signal are activated and road safety is ensured. If there is no need for additional attention from road users, the special sound signal may be turned off.”
